1. Starter: Identify the link

- Slides 2-7
Delivery
- Pick a student volunteer to sit with their back towards the whiteboard and tell them that they have to try and name the country. Open up Slide 1 and ask the rest of the class to describe the country that they see using the clues presented on the slide as a guide. Repeat the activity up to 4 times using Slides 2-5.
- Tell students that these countries have something in common. Encourage them to identify what it is and write their ideas on the board.
- If the 'Commonwealth' has not been guessed by any of the students introduce Slide 6, does the Commonwealth logo provide a clue? If not, use the Slide animation to reveal what all the countries have in common.
