Delivery

  • The final episode again asks students to review various data-sets, this time specific to various age-groups. Distribute Student Worksheet 3 and invite students to answer questions 1-3.
  • Answer questions 4 and 5 as a class. Time permitting classroom discussion should focus on the need of researchers to distil their research objective and to select an appropriately representative panel to ensure that their findings are useful.

Differentiation

Lower Ability:

Students work in groups to draw pen portraits of the various audiences represented.

Higher Ability:

Invite students to make further recommendations based on the data sets including recommendations for further research required.
