Delivery

• The final Episode in this lesson addresses students' misconceptions about vaccinations and supports revision of key points learned throughout. Student Worksheet 3 features a number of statements. Students should respond to each statement marking it either true or false.
• On completion students should swap their sheet with a partner. Read out the correct answers below and ask students to support one another's understanding by explaining their (correct) answer to any that answered incorrectly.
• Answers to the Slides and Student Worksheets are available to download in the Teacher Notes.
• You could also assign the Multiple choice quiz as homework or independent study.

Differentiation

Lower Ability:

Students work in pairs to complete the Student Worksheet. Project the relevant supporting slides as they progress through the questionnaire to facilitate response.

Higher Ability:

Ask students to additionally write down three risks and three benefits associated with a vaccination programme.
