Synopsis

This lesson is concerned with writing to inform. Students are given a range of texts to analyse and compare, including a leaflet promoting a military museum. Consideration is given to language, layout, audience, purpose, and use of language. After deconstructing the extracts, students are charged with producing their own piece of writing, using the key information gleaned from their analysis in previous Episodes.
