Turn pupils into hungry newshounds as they create newspapers based in different historical epochs

Headline History makes learning history fun for pupils and teachers too(Key Stage 2 and 3).

The site covers the Victorians, the Romans, the Tudors and World War II, with each English region enjoying its own selection of true stories. Each of the four eras offers six exciting editions.

Headline History is rich with fun video clips, illustrating gripping true stories about mass murderers, Roman armies and the harsh living conditions of the past.

Details of historically-themed venues across England aim to inspire families to continue their journey by visiting places such as museums, castles and local studies libraries.

Headline History is produced by Associated Northcliffe Digital, the internet division of the Northcliffe Newspapers Group.
