BAFTA Nominations for Culture Online Projects
Projects commissioned by Culture
Online have picked up four nominations in three categories of the BAFTA
Interactive Awards.
Jonathan Drori, director of Culture Online, comments: "We're over
the moon with the BAFTA nominations for Stagework, Headline History and
ArtisanCam. They are great 'good fun' sites and yet they still manage
to pack a punch from an educational perspective too."
The latest award nominations follow a run of good fortune for Culture
Online projects. Headline History swept the board at the Newspaper Society
Digital Media Awards, winning three of the top awards. Stagework was named
best runner up in the Best Broadband category of the BIMAs, pipped to
the post by Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

The Awards will be held at the Café Royal on Wednesday, 2nd March
2005 and will be hosted by Radio 4’s News Quiz regular, Jeremy Hardy.
