Claire has almost 20 years’ experience in developing and commissioning projects for segmented audiences, nine of them in new media. For many years she was Editorial Director and then Publishing Director of Websters International Publishers. While there, she was Executive Editor of Microsoft’s first CD-ROM commission outside the Corporation. She subsequently led many Microsoft projects.
Claire’s senior editorial experience spans magazines, books and visitor attractions, as well as electronic media, and she has developed both adult and children’s titles. She was responsible for developing what was at the time the world’s best-selling part-work magazine and many of the projects she has worked on have won awards.
Claire has also worked in the corporate sector. She was content strategist on BP’s award-winning site and set up a web team for Barclays Bank.
