Chris Barrett
Accessibility Specialist

Chris is our specialist in Web Accessibility and Web Standards, having come to us from EnableUK where he has been the Senior Technical Consultant and Getfrank Ltd, where he was Technical Director.

Chris has managed large web development teams for projects in the entertainment, education and public sectors. He has been responsible for developing public services for the Strategic Rail Authority with a novel Content Management System that ensured accessibility, and the templates for Ofcom's new site. He undertook the audit of the online presence of the Home Office and developed accessibility guidelines for them.

Previously, Chris developed an award-winning system for the National Farmers Union enabling computing and telephony to be integrated using standard web technologies. And before that? He supervised the drilling of 500 deep water-wells in the Libyan Sahara.
