bahrain boat disaster

We are working closely with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to offer support to the families of the victims and all those affected by the disaster in Bahrain on 30 March 2006, and to ensure that they receive the best possible help.

The 7 July Assistance Centre and helpline were set up immediately after the 7 July London bombings as a single point of information and assistance for all those affected. The Centre has agreed to extend its support to those affected by the disaster in Bahrain. The centre's phone lines are secure and private and provide emotional support and advice, assistance in making contact with appropriate agencies, multi-faith and multi-cultural support and financial and legal advice.

You can contact the centre on 0845 054 7444 10am to 8pm weekdays. Information is also available on the 7 July Assistance website.

The British Red Cross is also able to provide information and support and has established a support line offering practical support and comfort. The support line number is 0870 170 7000.
