The Digital Britain Report outlines our plans for the UK’s digital future.
The report underlines central policy commitments issued in New Industry, New Jobs to ensure that businesses are equipped to compete in the global economy. It also builds towards Going for Growth, which includes broadband access for virtually all of Britain’s homes and businesses.
It also looked at a wide range of issues including the treatment of news in the nations, locally and in the regions. This included a commitment to independently funded news consortia.
