creative and cultural education advisory board

Set up jointly by DCMS and the then DfES (now DCSF) the Creative and Cultural Education Advisory Board is one of the first actions the Government is taking in response to Paul Roberts’ report, Nurturing Creativity in Young People.

Chaired by Paul Roberts, the board brings together representatives from our key NDPBs with the aim of implementing the actions agreed in the Government’s response and building a more coherent ‘creativity offer’ for all young people.

The Creative and Cultural Education Advisory Board is due to meet four times during the year and will invite wider members from the sector to be involved in specific discussions. The board is keen that everyone has the opportunity to have their say on the issues raised.
