gambling law until sept 2007

The Gambling Act 2005 will be fully implemented by 1 September 2007.


The "Gambling Act 2005: Transitional arrangements" publication PDF 902 (kb) explains the arrangements we have put in place for the commencement and implementation of the Gambling Act 2005.

Until then, gambling in the UK continues to be subject to existing legislation. These pages explain the law as it currently stands, and we will continue to update them about the changes taking place.
