7. premises licences fees review

The Government has now published a more complete table of data received from licensing authorities.

As part of the Government's commitment to keep the premises licence regime under review, the Government published on 26 July a collated table of information setting out the fees that Councils have set this year from within the bands prescribed by DCMS in the Gambling (Premises Licence Fees) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007. Each premises type has separate fee bands. The Government promised to publish a revised and fuller version in the Autumn.

The table below contains a revised and more complete table of data received from licensing authorities about the level of fees they have set for their 2007-2008 premises licence provisions. The table represents approximately the returns of 95% of all licensing authorities as of 14 September 2007.

If you know any of the data within these tables to be incorrect, please contact Donald Sproson by:
