What is NESTA?
NESTA, the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts, is working to transform the UK's capacity for innovation and develop its creative potential.

It invests in all stages of the innovation process, backing new ideas and funding new ventures that stimulate entrepreneurship.

The DCMS is the government department responsible for NESTA. We support their investments in outstanding ideas and the people who have them.

Creating Growth report
NESTA recently published a report, “Creating Growth: How The UK Can Develop World Class Creative Businesses”.

Analysing the contribution that the Creative Industries make to the UK economy, the report looks at the economic performance of six creative industry sectors, including advertising, design, film, music, television and computer and video games.

Read the report, find more about NESTA and the work it does, including access to funding and training, by visiting the NESTA website.
