This is a valuable resource for DCMS Divisions that work with Local Government. It will be used by Local Government practitioners. The site is structured around the 7 Shared Priorities. Site users can access case studies, legislation and policy documents. Cultural Services Excellence Network members can access a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas.

The site has been produced by the DCMS in partnership with the Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA). It will be useful for both local government practitioners, policy makers and central government Departments and Agencies working with Local Government.

In addition it will be used by the Cultural Services Excellence Network (a forum for the encouragement of improved delivery of Local Authority cultural and leisure services).
