Funding for artists and arts organisations
Arts Council England is responsible for distributing public money from the Government and the National Lottery to artists and arts organisations.

It also provides advice and information, commissions research and forges partnerships that benefit the arts sector.

Available funding
Arts Council England currently runs five funding programmes:

  • Grants to Organisations
  • Grants to Individuals
  • Grants for National Touring
  • Grants for Stabilisation and Recovery
  • Arts Capital Programme
