Amended Guidance issued under section 182 of the Licensing Act 2003 - December 2009

Consolidated text of the amended guidance issued under section 182 of the Licensing Act 2003.

The s.182 Guidance has been amended to take account of:

  • The new process for making online applications and notifications.

 

The revision to the Guidance was laid before Parliament on 10th December 2009 and comes into force immediately.  However, the new online process will not be accessible until the 28th December 2009 when the amending Regulations come into force.  Revised guidance for applicants is available on this website.

Electronic Applications
The Electronic Applications process will allow applicants to make online applications and notifications for most licensing processes, except applications for personal licences, applications for reviews and representations.  Online applications must be made via businesslink, or the licensing authorities’ own electronic facility (‘relevant facility’ as defined).
