Culture, Media and Sport helping the country come through stronger - at the heart of the new economy

This document outlines our priorities for DCMS and our partners across the cultural and sports world and in local government for the new economy. It is intended for everyone who invests time and money in culture, creativity and sport (our Non departmental Public Bodies, national governing bodies, our partners in regional and local government, and those in the private sector) to demonstrate the contribution our sectors can make to provide real help now for people and places in difficult times.

Culture, media and sport are part of the solution to the social and economic challenges that this country is facing and will play an even bigger part in building Britain’s future as we recover from the recession.
