Digital Britain : Creating the Skills for the Digital Economy

This publication, produced jointly by the Sector Skills Councils, e-skills UK and Skillset, follows up on Lord Stephen Carter request, as part of the Digital Britain interim report, for an assessment of productivity and skills gaps by providing a detailed analysis covering the following areas:

  • An assessment of the existing education and training infrastructure;
  • The case for change;
  • Recommendations for action.

This paper will be used to inform decisions taken in the final Digital Britain Report in partnership with Government Departments and the Devolved Administrations.
