Revisiting the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games : Government response to the fifth report from the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee. Cm 5576
This report was jointly commissioned by DCMS, Sport England and Manchester City Council in August 2002 as a follow-up to the Commonwealth Games held in Manchester between 25 July and 4 August 2002.
The objectives of the report included identifying the factors that shaped the original bidding strategy, the approach to the organisation of the Games, budget development and the delivery of wider opportunities and legacy.
