Big Lottery Fund Interim Order and Directions

This is a consultation about the interim initiative Order and policy directions we intend to issue to the Big Lottery Fund, pending enactment of the National Lottery Bill which is currently before Parliament.

The Order and directions will be issued under existing legislation applying to the Big Lottery Fund's constituent bodies, the New Opportunities Fund (NOF) and the Community Fund. They are, as far as possible, the same as the Order and directions we would propose to issue to the Big Lottery Fund following enactment of the National Lottery Bill under the new power to prescribe areas of expenditure. This consultation has now ended. The consultation period was 29 July to 30 September 2005. The summary of responses was published on 4 November 2005.
