Regional Venture Capital Fund

The region’s venture capital fund has £30m to make first investments, of not more than £250,000 with the potential to make follow-on investments of a further £250,000, in high growth small and medium sized enterprises. The fund is managed by Catapult Venture Managers Ltd.

The UK Film Council invests £7.5 million a year into regional film activities through the Regional Investment Fund for England (RIFE). Through RIFE the agencies will be able to provide a variety of resources aimed at developing public access to and education about film and the moving image. These funds will include: production funding; exhibition development funding; education project funds; archive development funds; training and development funds; and funds for audience development.
