This bulletin contains statistics on employment, exports, numbers of businesses and gross value added of the Creative Industries.

Revisions:
24 October 2005: The average annual growth of the UK economy between 1997 and 2003 was incorrectly stated as 2% in the bulletin released on 11 October 2005 (Headline Findings, Page 1). This figure should read 3%. All other text and tables are unchanged.

Explanatory note - The Release Practices Protocol of the National Statistics Code of Practice allows officials and ministers to have priveleged early access to the figures under certain conditions. It also requires a list to be published of those who had such early access.
