Foreign Satellite Service Proscription Order

Foreign Satellite Service Proscription Order A Foreign Satellite Service Proscription Order for the channel "Exstasi TV" has been laid before Parliament.

The Order refers to an Italian satellite channel, "Extasi TV", which has been broadcasting violent pornography into the UK. The Order does not make it illegal to watch the channel, but makes it illegal for anyone in the United Kingdom to advertise it, to advertise on it, or to supply equipment to it. The Order will come into effect in two weeks' time.
