Select Committee Report: Privacy and Media Intrusion (HC 458-1)
The Government's response to the Fifth Report of the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee on Privacy and Media Intrusion has been published. It makes a number of suggestions for ways in which the self-regulation of the press might improve, but makes it clear that the Government has no intention of introducing an extra legislation.
