Consultation on the New EU "Citizens For Europe" Programme
This consultation has now ended. The consultation period was 5 August – 28 October 2005.
The Department for Culture, Media and Sport is seeking comments on the European Commission's proposal for a "Citizens for Europe" programme, which will run from 2007 to 2013. The Commission's proposal is wide in scope, and we are, therefore, consulting through a broad range of over-arching organisations such as the Arts Council England, who are asked to distribute papers to all potentially interested parties within their sectors. Individuals, however, are also welcome to make comments.
The text of the Commission's proposal can be found via the following web link: http://europa.eu.int/comm/dgs/education_culture/activecitizenship/new_programme/new_programme06042005_en.pdf
