Creativity
The All Our Futures: Creativity, Culture and Education report by the National Advisory Committee on Creative and Cultural Education (NACCCE) commissioned jointly by DCMS and the then Department for Education and Employment raised concerns about the place of the arts and creativity in the curriculum.
DCMS worked closely with QCA on these projects. These studies have provided useful evidence of the benefits of Arts education and Creativity. A set of case studies will be produced which provide examples of creative approaches which teachers can use in all curriculum subjects. The results of the projects can be found on the QCA and National Curriculum websites, along with guidance on how to develop the arts and creativity in schools.
