Co-productions made under the terms of one of the UK's bilateral film co-production agreements, or under the European Convention on Cinematographic Co-production, may be considered as:
Applicants should pay particular attention to the deadline for the receipt of provisional applications, which should arrive in DCMS 6-8 weeks before commencement of principal photography. As from 5th January 2004, any application which arrives later than 4 weeks (28 days) before the commencement of principle photography will be rejected.

The application form for a film to be granted provisional status under an official co-production agreement is available online and should be submitted at least four weeks before the commencement of principal photography.
