UK Trade & Investment (Joint Secretariat)
UK Trade & Investment is the lead Government trade support service for British companies trading in world markets. Their principal role is to help UK exporters who want to develop new opportunities and partnerships in overseas markets. UKT&I's international service network enables them to provide sales leads, market information, consultancy services and contacts.

Department of Trade and Industry
Within DTI the Digital Content and Publishing Unit has Business Relations responsibility for books, newspapers, magazines, journals, directories, business information companies, education content publishers, digital content, computer games and internet businesses.
The Digital Content and Publishing Unit works closely with industry trade associations on a range of issues relevant to their particular sector.

British Council
The British Council promotes the British creative Industries through a range of activities and events including touring exhibitions celebrating the Creative Industries, workshops, seminars, and conferences overseas led by British Creators, and study programmes in the UK for overseas visitors.

Periodicals Publishers Association (PPA)
The Periodical Publishers Association (PPA) is the organisation for magazine publishers in the UK. The role of the PPA is to promote and protect the interests of the magazine industry in general and member companies in particular. The Publishers Association (PA)
The Publishers Association is the leading trade organisation serving book, journal and electronic publishers in the UK. It brings publishers together to discuss the main issues facing the industry and to define the practical policies that will take the industry forward. Digital One
Digital One operates the largest DAB digital Radio network in the world and is pioneering the role of digital radio in the commercial world. It is committed to the long-term promotion of digital radio in the UK and stimulating the market is part of its licence remit. Digital One has the biggest investment programme of any radio operator in order to market the medium and promote the sale of digital radio receivers. Commercial Radio Companies Association (CRCA)
The Commercial Radio Companies Association (CRCA) is the trade body for commercial radio companies in the United Kingdom. It is a voluntary, non-profit making body, formed by the first radio companies when Independent Radio began in 1973. As well as promoting the importance of commercial radio, CRCA plays an active role in promoting conditions that will enable it to thrive into the future.

British Phonographic Industry (BPI)
The British Phonographic Industry is the British record Industry's trade association, representing thousands of British record companies. The BPI helps record companies do better business – namely by providing copyright protection and legal expertise, all the latest research and statistics, export advice and practical support at trade fairs (amongst other services).

British Music Rights (BMR)
British Music Rights is an umbrella organisation which represents the interests of composers, songwriters and music publishers. Formed in 1996 by the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters, the Music Publishers Association (MPA), the Mechanical-Copyright Protection Society (MCPS) and the Performing Right Society (PRS), they provide a consensus voice promoting the interests of creators and publishers of music at all levels.

Music Publishers Association (MPA)
The Music Publishers Association offers members practical benefits as well as networking, policy-making and training and learning opportunities. MPA members participate in a wide range of specialist MPA committees that formulate strategies and policies on behalf of the UK music publishing business. Acting on behalf of the music publishing business the MPA takes part in high level national and international lobbying and the negotiation of various collective agreements, guidelines and schemes designed to help save music publishers' time and money.

UK Film Council (UKFC)
The UK Film Council was established by the Government in 2000 as a new strategic agency for developing the film industry and film culture in the UK. Its main aim is to stimulate a competitive, successful and vibrant UK film industry and culture, and to promote the widest possible enjoyment and understanding of cinema throughout the nations and regions of the UK. John Woodward, Chief Executive Officer of the UK Film Council chairs the Film Export Sub-group.

Producers Alliance for Cinema and Television (PACT)
Pact is the UK trade association that represents and promotes the commercial interests of independent feature film, television, animation and interactive media companies. PACT has Headquarters in London with offices in Scotland and regional representation throughout the UK, in order to support its 1000 plus members.
PACT is a highly effective lobbying organisation. It has regular and constructive dialogues with government, regulators and opinion formers on all issues affecting its members and contributes to key public policy debates on the media industry.

British Television Distributors Association (BTDA)
BTDA represents, promotes and protects the commercial interests of British Television Exporters. Its activities are developing to incorporate a wide-ranging marketing role. Channel 4 International (C4i)
Channel Four International is responsible for exploiting programme rights acquired by Channel 4 when it commissions programmes for its UK terrestrial audience. Typically, this will involve licensing to TV stations, but it could also involve selling rights for exploitation across PPV, DVD or new media platforms. C4i also represents the FilmFour library. The programming represented in C4i's library of programmes spans films, drama, documentaries, comedy, animation, music and arts.

Blue Heaven Productions Limited
Graham Benson has been actively involved in film and television production for 25 years. He has produced and/or executive produced over 1,000 hours of programming including episodes of 'The Ruth Rendall Mysteries'.

The DCF is the representative body that bridges the gap between traditional publishing, graphic design, film and TV production, high-tech computer engineering and e-commerce entrepreneurs. It represents industries that share a common interest in using the tools and functions of interactive digital media to bring new products and services to the market.
