Policy for arts

The DCMS sets the strategic policy for all our sectors, including the arts.  This policy is devoted to overall objectives, like increasing access to the arts or expanding provision of education through the arts.

This policy is carried out in partnership with Arts Council England and its Regional Arts Councils, other government departments such as the Department for Education and Skills, and with regional bodies such as local authorities.
