Business Sponsorship
Sponsorship is one of the ways that commercial companies can provide financial support to arts organisations. A commercial business provides money, materials or services to an arts organisation in order to promote the business' name, products or services.
Sponsorship can prove lucrative for arts organisations, but it does require a lot of time, effort and resources to approach companies and put together proposals.
The 'Business Investment in the Arts' report is published annually by Arts & Business. The latest report shows that business investment in the arts in the UK currently stands at £111million (Arts & Business 2002).
