We are the lead Government department for the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.

We are working closely with our key stakeholders – the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, the Olympic Delivery Authority, the Mayor of London and the British Olympic Association – other Government departments and relevant bodies in the nations and regions to deliver the best games ever and to ensure that the 2012 Games leave a lasting legacy and create maximum benefits for London and the UK as a whole.
