Tsunami Support Network
Following the tsunami of 26 December 2004, we worked with the British Red Cross to develop the Tsunami Support Network. If you have been affected by the tsunami in any way and would like support and advice, please call 0845 054 7474 or visit the website.
As well as being responsible for the aftercare of those affected by the tsunami, we also co-ordinated the national memorial service for the UK victims held in St Paul's Cathedral on 11 May 2005.
The National Audit Office (NAO) review of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office response to the tsunami was published in November 2005. The NAO is conducting a major survey of UK citizens affected by the disaster. The survey period is now over.
