Staying ahead: the economic performance of the UK's creative industries

Report Cover - Staying ahead: the economic performance of the UK's creative industries

As part of the Creative Economy Programme the Department for Culture Media and Sport  commissioned Will Hutton and the Work Foundation to produce an economic analysis of the Creative Economy in the UK.

The resulting paper, "Staying ahead: the economic performance of the UK's creative industries", is a significant contribution to the debate about the importance of the Creative Economy in the UK.

The Government will publish a Green Paper later in the year which will respond to many of the issues raised in this report.
