Licensing Bill

The Queen's Speech on the 13 November 2002 announced the Government's intention to reform the current archaic and outdated alcohol and public entertainment licensing systems. The Bill and the accompanying Explanatory Note are published on the parliament website. The Regulatory Impact Assessment, Framework Guidance and Draft Guidance are also available online. The Secretary of State has written to all MPs summarising the main provisions of the Bill, and it's benefits.
