Independent Review of the Transparency of the BBC's Financial Reporting

The review follows the Government's commitment to independent scrutiny of the BBC's financial reporting, as recommended by the independent report The Future Funding of the BBC (August 1999).

The aim of the review was to ensure that the BBC continues to be as open and accountable as possible and to boost public confidence in the way the BBC reports on its accounts and services.
