Governance of Britain: the Government's draft legislative programme

On 11 July 2007, the Government published a Draft Legislative Programme for the next session of Parliament, outlining the bills that it currently plans to introduce in the 2007-08 session – including a Heritage Protection Bill from DCMS.

This publication is part of a wider opening up of Government to those to whom it is accountable. The Cabinet Office website enables you to submit comments about the programme as a whole or any of the individual Bills included in the proposals.

The Heritage Protection Bill will be published in draft for pre-legislative scrutiny.
