Consultation on Draft Regulations and Order to be made under The Licensing Act 2003

The purpose of this consultation is to elicit views about the draft Regulations to be made under the Licensing Act 2003.

The consultation period was 15 September  to 10 November 2004

The regulations are important as they provide much of the detail of how the new licensing regime will operate, including proposed details for forms, plans and operating schedules. Without them, Licensing Authorities will not be able to begin processing applications on 7 February 2005.  The consultation covers personal licences, hearings, premises licences, club premises certificates, transitional arrangements and licensing registers.
