I wanted to get in touch and say that I think the BBC's digital services are fantastic value for money.  We have a freeview box, so pay nothing further for our viewing.  Both my husband and myself work in the Arts and in teaching and watch a lot of BBC4 and also use it's content as a resource.  There is precious little of this type of thing on 'mainstream' TV, I think the existence of regular cultural programming is a huge asset.

We have a two-year-old son aswell, and find CBeebies invaluable for entertainment and information - the web-related links, ideas and information are also great.  Having a children's station without any adverts (mostly for toys and junk food) is absolutely necessary I feel.

The text service is also very good - as is having News 24.  I do feel the content of this news service is different and better presented than similar news channels.
