Hello, Please can the BBC ensure that "play-lists" which have had a complete strangle hold on day time radio for many years, do not ever make the transferral over to the digital radio programming arena. This is an important issue, as play lists are used to compete with commercial radio, whereby the listener is guaranteed to hear a number of familiar 'hits' if dipping into a radio station in any given period from the hours of 6am to 7pm. They may provide a perceived audio comfort blanket for the listener but only succeed in limiting the wealth of creative output that people should be exposed to with a world class broadcaster such as the BBC. The BBC should be offering a diverse and challenging output at all times across all their station and in their unique position, should not be competing with commercial radio. I would argue that play listing policies currently enforced on daytime national radio (Radio One, Two etc), should be examined by an independent review body to establish the detrimental effect they are having Sincerely Adrian Morris
