My wife & I listen to the BBC most of the time (Radios 4, 3 & 2) and watch most of the TV output. 
We recently cancelled our Sky subscription & now watch via a Freeview adaptor. 
My only criticism would be the current small number of (BBC) channels available compared to the Sky / cable offerings & would like to see that improved in the future.

We find the BBC programme content very good.
