I would very much like to comment on the BBC's digital services. Unfortunately, I cannot receive them. Therefore, my comment is about the lack of availability of these services in my area (Faversham, Kent) and the annoyance of seeing trailers for these services so frequently when I cannot access them. As I understand it, there are three ways of accessing digital TV services: 1. Satellite 2. Cable 3. Freeview With regard to the first of these, the road in which I live has a covenant prohibiting the installation of satellite dishes. However, even if this were not the case, I would not want to subscribe to Sky for ethical reasons. Cable is not available in our area, so that leaves Freeview. From doing the searches and entering my postcode, I understand that Feeeview is not receivable in my area.. Please remember that this is not some distant part of the British Isles, but a town only 50 miles from London. The service seems to be available in surrounding areas, but not the ME13 area. Why not?
