watch BBC3 and 4 regularly, and also listen to some of the digital radio services - patricularly BBC7 -they add a great deal to the output of the BBC and I hope that they will continue to grow and develop. The way that the BBC uses the digital channels to develop and show new programmes and to replay old programmes makes an excellent use of the variability of digital channels and I am very happy that some of my licence fee goes on these channels. The BBC seems to have got the relationship between digital and analogue channels absolutely right -long my the corporation continue to be independant, funded by the licence fee and able to dvelop these new services.
