I am proud of the BBC. It provides those of us that cannot afford to pay for satellite TV with an excellent service. I also use the BBC web page . It is excellent and better than the commercial search engines which seem to flood the computer with “pop-ups” and give search results biased towards advertisers.

I am concerned that pressure from commercial television companies on the government may ruin our bbc by trying to make it less successful. If you compare the value of the licence fee-which provides TV, Radio,Internet and so much moe for less than the cost of the cheapest sky TV subscription I think the evidence speaks for itself.

I would like to see limits on the amount of American TV that is allowed on ALL TV stations. Sky One is wall to wall USA reality TV or rubbish. I would not like there to be any changes that affect the direction the bbc has been going in . It must be independent and allowed to report uncensored news.

Please don’t go down in history as the people who wrecked the BBC. Look at public service broadcasting almost anywhere else and you will see why I am so concerned!
