Dear Review, I would like to say that before the advent of the digital services I bitterly resented paying my licence fee, there was absolutely nothing worth watching and precious little worth listening to since the dumbing down of most of the 1-4 radio stations. Now I listen to 6Music and watch BBC 4 and am bizarrely relaxed about the licence fee, thse two channels alone seem excellent value for a tenner a month. No doubt they too will be dumbed down and filled with wall to wall giggling celebs before long but for now they are great. I would also like to big up the BBC Internet service which for me is the primary mode of delivery for BBC output (even though Freeview is great, the picture quality and sound are fantastic, music programmes on BBC4 are TOP, why can't we have MORE MUSIC??) I read BBC News on the web EVERY day whereas apart from BBC 4 I hardly ever watch TV. This is one licence payer who would be EXTREMELY aggrieved and would receive almost nothing for his money if the Internet services were curtailed, as threatened by the pathetic Tories (I mostly listen to 6Music over the Internet too) cheers!
