Dear Sir, Madam, Miss or Ms, With all due respect, whilst I have reservations about your review being "independent" and reservations about the present government actually taking into account any of the findings of the review, I have a few comments to make. The BBC, despite criticism from other media correspondents and criticism by politicians whenever it suits them still continues to do many things very well. One of those being BBCi and the other websites it produces. In fact I actually consider www.bbc.co.uk to be the BBC exercising its obligation as a "Public Service Broadcaster" to the full, proving that once again, like the initiative in the early an mid 1980's that saw the first computers come into use in schools, that the BBC is still an innovator and world leader in many areas. I also have certain serious reservations regarding the findings of the infamous "Hutton Report", which has not only served to reduce the ability of the BBC to report objectively but has also seemed to make ITN and ITV similarly cautious. Which in the long run will increase the feeling of a curbing of democracy that seems to be occurring with each passing day. Perhaps the newspapers will be the next to find the control freak censors on their front doorstep. Regards AFH
