Brent Decides Not to Proceed with Proposal - 24 August 2006
The Panel understands that Brent have chosen not to proceed with their proposal. As willingness to licence is a key criterion for the Panel, as set by Government, the shortlist has duly been reduced to seven.
The Panel is still considering recent supplementary submissions and will consider whether any more proposals should be added to the shortlist in the light of these. It wants, however, to make clear that any decision to expand the shortlist – should the Panel choose to go down that line – will not be influenced by Brent’s decision in any way, and will be dependent solely on the additional material provided. More information available in the 'What's New' section of this website.
