A new Association has been formed for Directors who are responsible for a broad range of environment and economic issues in County, Unitary and Metropolitan authorities across the country.

Reflecting new trends in Local Government Services and Structures, CSS , formerly the County Surveyors Society, has changed its name to:

ASSOCIATION of DIRECTORS of ENVIRONMENT, ECONOMY, PLANNING and TRANSPORT: or ADEPT.
