The MoD Procurement Portal is designed to assist
and support both suppliers and buyers within the
defence industry, providing you with access to
a wide variety of information at differing levels
from free access to all subscription services
for suppliers and approved access for buyers.
Within the portal you can access the MoD Defence
Contracts Bulletin (DCB), an online gateway to
new business opportunities for companies, large
and small, who wish to compete for defence business
either directly as a main contractor or indirectly
as a sub-contractor.
Likewise, you will find a vast range of information
relating to dealing with the MoD, including Guidelines
for Industry, Contact Points and a wide variety
of links to other procurement-related information.

Subscribers have access to the MoD Defence Contracts
Bulletin online. DCB provides information on Possible
Future Purchases, giving suppliers advance notification
of forthcoming MoD tenders and contracts; Tenders
Invited and Contract Award notices, allowing sub-contractors
the opportunity to identify new business opportunities;
and
Sub-Contract Opportunities which will provide
potential business opportunities valued in excess
of £250,000. As well as being able to access

The Archive service is especially for those companies
seeking information on past defence opportunities
or who are looking for information to aid them
in building a database of MoD contract information.

As an MoD Buyer you can register
online, subject to approval of the
Ministry of Defence.
Once registered, a buyer can access the contract
information from the MoD Defence Contracts Bulletin,
Reports and Publications, download PDF forms,
access the contact directory, CPV code search
and Defence e-business.
The Buyer Activity Centre contains access to
the NCAGE section, the Project e-notice service
for the creation of OJEU and MOD DCB contract
notices and the Commercial Manager's Toolkit.
Buyers can also access the archive section containing
contract information from previous years.
