Note by the CC
The documents below link to the evidence the CC has received
from publishers on the Woolworths/ Bertram merger. Seven
other publishers responded to the CC’s letter inviting
evidence, five saying that they did not wish to make representations,
and the other two saying that they had no objection to
the merger, one of them adding that it welcomed the merger
if it resulted in Woolworths stocking its publications.
